Now in its fourth year, the TAMS Summit is a social impact initiative designed to push the agenda for the workplace and national productivity. Convener of the summit, Afolabi Abiodun, who was featured in the Stanford Seed series profiles of Purpose, leads a team of young Nigerians who are committed to promoting accountability of time and resources in the workplace across all sectors of the economy. The event will also welcome Special Guest of Honour the Deputy Governor-Elect of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.

Held on May 16th at the iconic MUSON Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, the theme “Charting Nigeria’s Path to Growth: Playing by the Rules of Work, Wealth and Wellbeing” is expected to attract over 300 dignitaries, guests and delegates. This year’s edition will be headlined by renowned economist and public policy analyst Mr Bismarck Rewane, under the chairmanship of leading HR consultant Mrs Adenireti Oyeniyi-Adebayo, and supported by leading data analyst Mr Babajide Ogunsanwo.
To tackle the topic“Nigeria andThe Future of Work in an Age of Disruption” is a distinguished panel of speakers moderated by senior HR practitioner Chidinma Obiejesi. The panellists include Fraser Black, Chika Nwobi, Boma Alabi, Jameelah Sharrieff-Ayedun, Lanre Idowu and Iyalode Alaba, Lawson.

Furthermore, the summit will present Nigeria’s Employee of the Year awards in celebration of the most productive and punctual employees in Nigeria, as well as Nigeria’s HR Manager of the Year in recognition of the crucial role this department plays in creating enabling workplaces for employees to contribute to the success of their organisation and grow in their careers. Winners of both categories will receive an all-expenses-paid vacation to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in addition to an assortment of prizes.
