Next Refined Investor Series to be held in Lagos on December 4, 2018
The 2018 edition of the Refined Investor Series (RIS) will take place on December 4 in Lagos, Nigeria, on the theme “Collaborating for New Heights and National Growth”.
The RIS 2018 sets out to garner diverse industry knowledge, with a view to providing valuable insight into the latest developments under way in the real estate sector and offering solutions that will have a direct influence on the property market and its players across the value chain.
This year’s RIS will adopt a multi-sector and related stakeholder approach, drawing on case studies from a broad range of industries, including the real estate, oil & gas, finance and legal segments.
We expect that by providing a platform for stakeholders to connect and discuss topical issues, industry players will be inspired to capitalise on new opportunities and scale new heights in the years ahead.
The RIS has welcomed over 2000 private investors to its events. Participants have included major financial institutions and notable companies from a broad range of related industries, including; South Energyx Nigeria; Eko Atlantic; Nestoil Limited; First Bank Private Banking; Access Bank; Orange Island; Quantum Luxury Properties; Oxford Business Group; Business Day; and The Guardian.
In addition, it has hosted a list of high-profile key speakers, such as: Jim Ovia, Chairman of Zenith Bank; Atedo Peterside, founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc; Myma Belo Osagie and Dan Agbor, both of Udo Udoma; Hakeem Belo-Osagie, chairman, Metis Capital Partners; Fabian Ajogwu, senior advocate of Nigeria and founding partner of Kenna Partners; and representatives from the British Trade Department.
The 2017 edition of the RIS took place at the prestigious Landmark Hotel in London, under the chairmanship of His Excellency, former governor, Peter Obi. Aptly themed “Taking Nigeria to the World”, it attracted a diverse gathering of industry leaders, high-profile diaspora professionals and entrepreneurs.
