The 7th IGEM 2016 will continue to drive the green industry in Malaysia, as well as keeping up with the most current innovations and initiatives in the market. IGEM’s ultimate goal is positioning Malaysia as a green technology hub for the ASEAN region.
Under the theme “Green Business for Sustainability”, IGEM 2016 will be focused on five key areas:
- Green Energy
- Green Transport
- Green Building
- Waste Technology and Management
- Clean Water Technology and Management
IGEM 2015 has recorded a total of RM1.98bn ($492m) worth of business leads. Continuing the great legacy, IGEM 2016 will strengthen Malaysia’s status as a green technology hub for the ASEAN region, as well as generating more green business opportunities for the country.
