We are pleased to invite you to attend the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education’s fourth annual conference entitled “Methods for Consensus and Common Standards for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation in Arab Universities”. The conference will be held in Cairo- Egypt during 24-26 June, 2012 in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and Accreditation bodies in the Arab countries, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and the Association of Arab Universities.

The conference will discuss methods for consensus and common standards for quality assurance and accreditation, and pedagogical concerns in educational institutions, through the following topics:

  • National bodies and development of quality assurance and accreditation
  • QA and accreditation procedures, the programs in the Arab region and linking them to national and international quality and accreditation systems.
  • Standards and guidelines for quality assurance and accreditation in education
  • Best-practices, implementation strategies, and policies of quality assurance in education

During the conference, a workshop entitled “Quality Management Systems“will be held in cooperation with German Jordanian University and Department of Quality Management at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) – Technical University of Aachen.
