Burhan Al Marifa and LexisNexis are pleased to announce the launch of the first Saudi Law Conference (SLC 2018), which will take place on September 30 & October 1, 2018 in Sultana Hall of the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention Centre. The event will be executed by the Specialist-ExiCon International Group.

The conference’s primary topics include the dissemination of law policies in Saudi Arabia, the challenges surrounding access to information in a modern legal system and the most significant legal developments in the Kingdom over the past 20 years. Other discussions will relate to encouraging innovation in the information and legal services industries, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence; Saudi youth’s engagement in the business sector; hurdles facing the legal system in terms of Saudiization regulations, foreign employments contracts, bribery and corruption; and upcoming legislation with a focus on the Capital Market Authority and corporate law.
SLC 2018’s target audience includes public officials, in-house counsels, heads of law firms, lawyers, CEOs, business owners, wealth management advisors, compliance officers, investors and investment firms.
