The 2013 edition will be inaugurated by Mr. Pascal-Thierry Clivaz, Deputy CEO of the Universal Postal Union and will be marked by the participation of 25 managing directors of African postal services.

Following on from previous successful conferences, Forum Postal Africain is organized on an annual basis at the request of African industry professionals.

This year’s edition will be entitled “The new African postal dynamics: A player in financial inclusion and a catalyst for trade” and will be a platform to discuss key issues related to the development of Postal Services in Africa. The implementation of practical mechanisms and pragmatic approaches to enable the post to fully play its role in the financial inclusion process as well as the role of the post as a player in the development of trade and exchanges are some of the subjects to be tackled during panel sessions, keynotes and workshops.

Over 200 delegates representing industry professionals, government officials, postal services, equipment and IT providers, consultants, investment bankers are expected to attend this edition. The B2B area will be a platform for professionals to meet, discuss and forge partnerships.
