Third Party Event

15 Nov 2017

The fifth edition of the Ethical Finance Innovation Challenge and Awards (EFICA) Gala Dinner will be held on November 15, 2017, at the Ritz Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, UAE.

Organised by Thomson Reuters and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), and in partnership with Oxford Business Group, the event recognises finance initiatives that focus heavily on ethics.

A total of 400 industry professionals are expected to attend the function, which has come to represent one of the largest financial services events in the UAE.

Delegates will once again be given an opportunity to vote for the initiative they believe to be the most deserving of the Ethical Finance Initiative Award title after viewing the applicants’ presentations.

Three contenders – Arabesque, Employee Provident Fun and Kaah International Microfinance Services – will be vying for the title and cash prize of $100,000. The shortlist was selected from 50 applicants after careful consideration by EFICA’s advisory board.

HE Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani, Ph.D, President of Islamic Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank Group, and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, will be the keynote speaker at the function.

The EFICA awards is an annual event. Over the years, the initiative has changed countless lives for the better by empowering ethical finance initiatives that are making a difference to society.
