The second edition of the Colombian Renewable Energy Congress (ANDREC) will be held at the Sheraton Bogota Hotel from November 14 to 17, 2017.
Already established as a key industry event for networking, content and doing business, the forthcoming congress will explore Colombia’s potential under the banner, “Awakening Latin America’s sleeping giant of renewable energy”.
Oxford Business Group will be a partner for the congress, which is set to unite Colombia’s government stakeholders and early stage renewable energy developers, consultants and operators with a host of international players from project development, investment and technology manufacturers.
ANDREC 2017 will highlight Colombia’s potential as one of the region’s most exciting markets in terms of renewable energy, given that the country is already home to over 200 wind and solar projects in various stages of development and has established regulations for distributed generation, with additional legislation for utility scale development expected this year.
The congress will welcome more than 300 attendees, over 75 keynote speakers and 45 exhibitors set out across a space that has been extended to include a dedicated meeting area with the capacity to display new and innovative technologies and services for the Colombian market. The programme will include a regional focus day and two streams of content.
