The Africa Energy Technology Conference (AETC) 2026 will take place from 19th  to 21st May 2026 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, under the theme “From Borders to Bridges: Driving Intra-African Trade & Development through Energy & Technology Services.”

The conference is expected to convene over 1,500 delegates from more than 30 countries, including African Heads of State, ministers within the energy, hydrocarbons, climate change, and trade sectors, alongside policymakers, investors, development institutions, and industry leaders.

H.E. President John Dramani Mahama is expected to officially open the conference, while H.E. Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will host the Gala Dinner & Awards Night.

Key discussions will focus on policy harmonization, cross-border financing, women in energy, youth innovation, technology-driven solutions, and strategic partnerships aimed at advancing Africa’s energy transition, industrial growth, and intra-African trade and development.
