Introduction
The 4th EU-Indonesia Business Dialogue will be held in Jakarta from the 21st of October to the 22nd of October. The central theme of the event will be “Adding value to a strategic commercial partnership: moving towards an EU-Indonesia comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA)”.

EIBD is an ongoing dialogue forum conducted by Indonesian and European business leaders to formulate possible solutions and joint recommendations on issues affecting trade and investment between the EU and Indonesia. A milestone of the bilateral economic relations will be the designated Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), on which negotiations are supposed to start soon.
The EIBD Conference
The EIBD Conference 2013 is organised by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) and its member associations as well as the European business chambers (British, German, French and Dutch as well as the European Business Chamber) represented in Indonesia. EIBD 2013 is supported by the European Commission and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.
The objective of the conference is not only to follow-up on the recommendations of the last EIBD Conference in 2012, but also to raise awareness both in Indonesia and among European stakeholders for the EIBD and the CEPA and the private sectors’ commitment to the CEPA.
The EIBD Conference offers an excellent opportunity to discuss with like-minded decision-makers projects and potentials for the upcoming years.
