RECAM 2018

I wanted to take the chance to let you know about the exciting new speakers we have lined up for RECAM, taking place in Panama City, 6-8 March – this is just a snapshot of the stellar line-up of speakers confirmed!

-Dr Vince Henderson, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Dominica, United Nations.
-Claudia Alvarado, Sustainable Projects Advisor, Nestlé.
-Boris Zachrisson, Gerente Ejecutivo de Energía, Autoridad del Canal de Panamá.

– Dr Vince Henderson will showcase his vision for sustainable pathways following natural disasters, and how Caribbean leaders are planning for a renewable future after Irma and Maria.
-Nestlé Panama is pioneering on-site renewable generation. Claudia Alvarado will demonstrate how Nestlé partnered with Enel to construct its Estrella Solar photovoltaic plant.
-The Panama Canal aspires to reach zero emissions by 2023. Boris Zachrisson will be talking about the 96 solar panels currently installed on-site, and the Canal’s plans to integrate floating solar panels into their sustainability strategy.
