Building on the success of the first two editions, this year’s PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards gala dinner is set to take place on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the ballroom of Sedona Hotel Yangon, an awardee last year.
The black-tie event will see the country’s leading and up-and-coming names in property development, architecture and design competing for the year’s biggest honours in real estate, with categories covering the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
Richard Emerson, managing director at Emerson Real Estate (Myanmar), returns to chair the judging panel, while Zaw Erskine, director at BDO, a leading auditing and accountancy firm, leads the awards’ supervisory team in Myanmar.
“It has been a momentous year for the awards programme, and it is an honour to return to Myanmar to celebrate the country’s finest real estate companies and developments,” says Terry Blackburn, founder and managing director at PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.
Spanning the residential, commercial and design sectors, the final shortlist of the annual awards programme will be announced in early June in a press conference.
The Winners and Highly Commended will be revealed on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the exclusive gala dinner that will be attended by more than 300 senior industry figures and VIPs including U Aung Naing Oo, director general of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), who will give the keynote address.
