The Philippine Government launched the Philippine Construction Industry Roadmap 2020-2030 on 28 March 2019 at Clark City. This Roadmap is envisaged to provide the blueprint for the construction industry’s future progress, specifically in the Build Build Build Infrastructure Program of the government or The Golden Age of Infrastructure in the country.
In this forum, the FIDIC Contracts and Dispute Board that are used in the projects under the BBB Infrastructure Program shall be presented. After which, ADB and JICA, two of the development partners that support the program, will present “JICA’s Transportation Support to the Build Build Build Infrastructure Program of the Duterte Administration” and ADB’s Standard Bidding Documents for the Design-Build-Operate (DBO) Contracts in the Water Sector”.
To be presented also in the forum by the Former Project Director of Millennium Challenge Account-Philippines was an actual case, Samar Secondary National Road Development Project, that used the FIDIC contracts and effectively implemented Dispute Board in Dispute Avoidance.
