IT and mobility experts will be coming together on the 6th and 7th of February for the Enterprise Mobility Africa Summit. This two day event will feature industry thought-leaders including Sihle Mthiyane, Head of IT for Thales South Africa and Neels van Tonder, CTO of Capital Eye Investments. Speakers will address topical industry challenges such as big data and the mobile platform along with how mobility is enabling enterprises to become more networked and ‘people-centric’.
The EMA Summit agenda will explore the impact of mobility solutions across a range of industries and the opportunities or pitfalls they present for business. The conference program has been designed by IT and mobility specialists and underpins four key focus areas:

- Mobility governance and privacy

The summit is designed to maximise audience participation, with Q&A time built into keynotes, panel discussions and workshop sessions. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in 90 minute workshop sessions and learn about valuable EM solutions with the solution provider of their choice. Airwatch and Tech Mahindra among others will have IT experts on hand to deliver creative solutions that address problems experienced in the workplace.
African mobile usage is poised to overtake the desktop and with new technologies and devices overlapping with enterprise applications and networks, EM is set to transform the IT landscape. It is now critical that IT teams rise to the challenge presented by mobility in order to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.
The 2014 EMA Summit will help identify the areas where enterprise mobility can expand business. The solutions on offer will provide the opportunity to discover and assess the technologies needed to integrate a mobility strategy without disrupting the enterprise.
