The 2017 edition of the Dubai Forum for Government Best Practices will take place from November 7 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Rashid Hall.

An initiative of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP), the forum was set up to improve the practices, results and overall performance of the government sector in the emirate. Since its inception, the event has established itself as an effective knowledge-sharing platform, helping to foster excellence and innovation concepts and applications among Dubai government entities. Benchmarking with world best practices, it is considered an effective organisational and personal learning tool to sustain excellence. 

The theme for Dubai Forum for Government Best Practices 2017 will be, ‘An inspiring government shapes the future and achieves happiness’. Up to 1800 industry experts and participants across the government and semi-government sectors are expected to attend the event, which will take place in the presence of VIPs and senior officials. 

The 2017 forum is set to welcome approximately 40 high-level speakers and industry experts from a broad range of fields who will share their knowledge through a series of talks, seminars and panel discussions focusing on the event’s key theme.

It will include a broad range of success stories, including accounts from leading entities that have been inspired or are inspiring others to implement best practices and achieve excellence and innovation. These will include winners of DGEP awards in previous cycles.
