Third Party Event

21 Nov 2019

The Eighth Arangkada Philippines Anniversary Forum of the Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) of the Philippines will be held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on November 21, 2019. The theme for this year is Arangkada Philippines: Turning on the T.A.P. (Tourism, Agribusiness, and Power). The forum will discuss key policies and projects that support high economic growth in these sectors under the Duterte Administration and the realization of Ambisyon Natin by 2040.

The forum is divided into three main panels with the following topics:

  • Unlocking the Tourism Potential
  • Agribusiness as Key to Inclusive Growth
  • Challenges in the Philippine Power Sector.

Policy briefs on each will be launched and discussed during the event. There will also be a special panel entitled “The Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Build, Build, Build.” (view forum agenda here.)

Over 600 business persons, industry experts, investors, diplomats, government officials, and media are expected to attend this highly anticipated annual event of the foreign chambers.

JFC advocacy efforts have contributed significantly to the large increase in foreign direct investment and strong economic growth in the Philippines in recent years. With the upcoming forum, the JFC continues its long-standing contribution to policy discussion leading to stronger economic growth and job creation.
