The Report: Kenya 2014, which marks OBG’s first analysis of the country’s economy, was launched on November 19th 2014 by The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of The Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta during the Kenya International Investment Conference. Over 500 VIP guests and media representatives attended the launch of OBG’s publication at the two-day conference, which was organised by the Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce & Tourism, through Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) and Export Promotion Council (EPC) in collaboration with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). The conference, which took place at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), provided a platform for investors from around the world and the country’s leaders, among others, to share their views and exchange ideas on the theme ‘Invest in Kenya, the hub of East and Central Africa’.
