This conference is being held in commemoration of the 850th anniversary of Chinggis Khan’s birth and the 70th anniversary of the National University of Mongolia.

The aim of the conference – sponsored by the Institute for Mongolian Studies, National University of Mongolia – is to address problematic issues in various fields of Mongolian studies such as: society; politics; culture; economics; philosophy; history; philology and textual studies. In so doing, the Conference Organizers hope to obtain fresh ideas, perspectives and approaches to solving these problems, learn about new methods, and gain from the experience of established scholars and international researchers.
