We are honoured to announce that the 3rd edition of the Forum Afrisanté, the regional health sector event for North, West and Central Africa, will be held on Feb 25 and 26 2016, in Kenzi Menara Palace, Marrakech.
Driven by the success of the 2015 edition and organized in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Morocco, this forum will address crucial issues related to the development of healthcare systems in Africa. Titled “The new health systems in Africa”, a focus will be placed on the policies and strategies that could be adopted to accelerate the reforms under way, the new paradigm of investing in the health sector, the evolving role of the private sector and the growing importance of PPPs and human resources development. Conference workshops will focus on practical issues related to the sector.
Forum Afrisanté 2016 will be a real B2B platform for debate and exchanges between governments, professionals and operators in the field of health; funding, aid and cooperation agencies; NGOs; international experts; solution and equipment providers; and all the other parties involved in health sector development in Africa. The conference agenda includes a day and a half of debates focused on the functioning of African health care systems and the new added-value-creating opportunities for the sector in Africa.
Alongside this 3rd edition, health ministries from around the region will be invited to present their investment projects concerning health facilities in the years to come. This “Call for Projects” session will be a unique opportunity to present the most important projects to an audience composed mainly of financial institutions, hospital contractors and medical-equipment providers.
