EU-Philippines Business Summit

The full-day event will include three main components.

Part I.
In the morning, we will focus on EU investment strategies, including major opportunities and challenges for the EU-Philippines business community. Keynote invitees will include the Vietnam Minister of Industry and Trade, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, Senate President Aquilino Pimentel Jr. , followed by a panel discussion on the EU-Philippines Free Trade Agreement and a presentation of the EPBN’s wishlist of reforms through the handover of the 3rd edition of the EU-Philippine Advocacy Papers.

Part II.
The second part will focus on creating a more competitive business environment for the Philippines. Keynote invitees include Department of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez and Senate Committee Chair for Trade, Commerce, and Industry Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri.

Part III.
The last part will focus on the ASEAN integration. Keynote invitees include Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano and Senate Committee Chair for Foreign Affairs Sen. Loren Legarda. Industries that will be put in focus include automotive, ICT, food and beverage, and investing in Europe.
