The 2017 edition of EduTraC Oman will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 29 to 31, 2017, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Manpower.
Oxford Business Group will be a partner at EduTrac Oman 2017, which is set to serve as a multi-sector recruitment event for higher education, training and job opportunities. The exhibition will provide students, graduates and jobseekers with an excellent opportunity to learn more about the academic openings available and gain career guidance from recruiters, admission officers, career counsellors and human resource personnel.
EduTraC Oman 2017 takes place with the Sultanate’s significant reforms well under way, following the dawn of its modern renaissance. The strategies and policies designed by the architect of modern Oman, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, have given substantial importance to the Sultanate’s human capital through increased investment and sharpened the focus on the education sector, technical and vocational training, human resource development, and small and medium enterprises. In the ninth Five Year Plan 2017 – 2020, 34% of total current expenditure was allocated to improving the quality of learning, research and development and manpower training. EduTrac Oman 2017 reflects these strategies and policies.
