THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FORUM 100% DEDICATED TO INNOVATION
October 4th – 5th, 2018 – Rabat, Morocco
Under the lead of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, the APEBI (Moroccan Federation of Information Technology, Telecoms and Offshoring), in partnership with AMDIE (Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency), will host the third edition of the AFRICA IT EXPO (AITEX) in Rabat at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses on October 4th and 5th. Considered an annual flagship event for IT in Morocco, this occasion is an opportunity for all actors on the continent to discuss the latest trends and innovations of the sector, and their economic and societal impact.
African economic intelligence at the expo will center around the theme: « Digital for the future of Africa »
Morocco, like many other countries in Africa, has implemented a strategic plan for the development of the digital economy, known as Digital Morocco 2020. The roadmap aims to make innovation a vital pillar of the national economy and help the emergence of start-ups and young people with ambitious projects. AITEX 2018 will offer a program of inspiring conferences, exchanges, practical explorations and prospective analysis in order to mobilize all involved parties, promote innovation, and achieve effective and sustainable innovation ecosystems in Africa.
Innovation will take center stage during this international business forum, which will welcome professionals and stakeholders from the continent and beyond, such as innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, public and private leaders, researchers and academics from 15 countries. The Innovation Village will be the main attraction of this major continental event, which is a showcase of global technologies such as the cloud, big data, connected objects, robots, artificial intelligence, blockchain and e-governance.

Networking sessions, organized on a dedicated platform, will represent an opportunity for participants to build new relationships and strengthen suitable partnerships.
