The Marcus Evans’ Annual Affordable Housing Conference looks at accelerating affordable housing projects with innovative strategies and ground breaking technologies to ensure adequate supply and improved housing ownership.
Day 3 of the conference features a unique mix of interactive group discussions, and an innovative course on developing housing blueprints for inclusive growth.
Conversation with Housing Experts:
This series of high level thought-exchange and think-tanks will feature housing experts from across the region, discussing some of the hottest issues in affordable housing.
Developing Your Housing Blueprint for Inclusive Growth:
This course will help develop appropriate recommendations to improve the current housing situation in line with on-going governmental initiatives. Also, gain first-hand experience and knowledge from successful case studies by senior government officials.
There will also be two site tours to:
- Galeri Anjung Rumawip Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL)
- The Industrialised Building Systems (IBS) Centre, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)
Lastly, the conference will also include country spotlight sessions where country representatives will be speaking on their latest and most innovative housing development initiatives, and an inter-governmental exchange session for policy makers to discuss and explore new avenues to shape state and federal housing policies to provide funding and other incentives for affordable homes.
