TURKI ALALSHIKH: From 2019 until the first quarter of 2023 the entertainment industry saw significant momentum, with the Kingdom becoming a centre of economic, social and artistic activity. The sector presented over 8732 events spanning more than 76,000 activity days, encompassing a wide range of activities and live performances in restaurants and cafes. During this period the GEA’s activities attracted a record number of visitors, amounting to more than 120m in total. These figures serve as a testament to the thriving growth of the entertainment sector. Continued development, driven by the support of our leadership, will play a crucial role in maximising the sector’s impact and fostering further prosperity in a vital and promising industry.
In what ways can the sector spur job creation, entrepreneurship and private sector development?

Where do you see opportunities to foster synergies with tourism, sport and cultural authorities?
