Thanks to these advantages, Egypt has become a regional centre for technology and innovation in recent years, with a range of activities taking place in the country, particularly outsourcing and shared services.

Vodafone has been present in Egypt for the last 20 years. And over the course of those 20 years we’ve invested over 40bn Egyptian pounds in the country. So obviously it is a place where we believe that our investment makes sense across the world. But also, fundamentally, a young dynamic population full of energy, and that's brilliant for a digital world.
