Seguridad en la nueva Era Digital…
La seguridad bancaria, hasta hace poco tiempo una cuestión relacionada con el acceso y vigilancia del entorno físico, la custodia de los valores y la fidelidad del recurso humano, ha sido transformada por el desarrollo tecnológico en un complejo y sofisticado ecosistema de medios físicos, electrónicos e informáticos que operan, supervisan y controlan todos esos elementos, además de la información de los clientes y de las transacciones financieras que se efectúan cada vez más por medio de las telecomunicaciones, siempre amenazadas por los ciber-delincuentes.
La actualización del conocimiento y el intercambio de experiencias sobre estos asuntos son de vital importancia y prioridad para la administración bancaria y particularmente para quienes tienen la responsabilidad de la seguridad en sus instituciones.
Con este motivo, la Federación Latinoamericana de Bancos – FELABAN, organiza el congreso anual enfocado en esos temas que serán analizados en conferencias, mesas redondas y seminarios por reconocidos expertos.
Al evento asisten representantes de más de 200 instituciones financieras de la región y cerca de cincuenta empresas internacionales proveedoras expositoras de sistemas, equipos y servicios relacionados con la seguridad en el entorno financiero.
El CELAES es por tanto un foro anual al que no se debe faltar.

Banking security, originally a matter of access control, physical vigilance, safeguarding valuables and ensuring the fidelity of human resources, has developed into a complex realm of physical, electronic and digital systems that control these elements as well as the protection of the privacy of vital institutional and client information, the security of financial transactions trough the Internet, telecommunications and mobile devices and the prevention and detection of fraud and other forms of cybercrime threats.
Keeping abreast of key knowledge, information and experiences on this matters is therefore of vital importance and priority for management and particularly those responsible for security, which today involves every aspect of banking operations.
The CELAES is an annual meeting and high level executives and IT managers responsible for security in the financial institutions, aimed at facilitating the exchange of information, ideas and experiences in the field of technological solutions for the Latin American financial sector trough conferences and seminars dictated by international experts. It is also an opportunity to meet with technology suppliers offering a complete panorama of available state of the art solutions.
