Third Party Event

25 Nov 2018 - 27 Nov 2018

Held twice per year – once in London and once in Accra – the Tech in Ghana Conference supports Ghana’s burgeoning tech industry by providing a platform for investors, government agencies and other key players to study trends, engage with one another, participate indiscussions and make connections.

The event launched in London in 2017 with a keynote speech from Adam Afriyie, a member of the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Ghana. In the same year, the second event was hosted for the first time in Ghana by the Minister for Communications, the Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.

Tech in Ghana aims to explore three main areas:
– How technology is disrupting norms and reshaping Ghana’s traditional industries
– How start-ups are providing profitable local solutions
– How regulators and policymakers are responding to the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem

Operating under the theme Local Focus, Global Reach, the upcoming Tech in Ghana Conference will highlight new areas such as businesses scaling internationally, digital growth outside of Accra and tech’s impact on entertainment.

Guest speakers over the two days include representatives from MTN, KudiGo, Stanbic Bank, IROKO, Ecobank, Farmerline, Dext Technologies, Developers in Vogue, TROTRO Tractor, iSpace, eCampus, GSMA Intelligence, BlueSPACE AFRICA and many more.
