Within a targeted 30GW of new generating capacity, besides thermal and nuclear, renewables will have a main role with 3 GW wind farms, 5 GW solar power plants and 4 GW hydropower over the next 10 years.

According to the roadmap’s key performance indicators, until 2030 Uzbekistan needs to build 8 GW of new renewables capacities and modernize 10 GW of existing natural gas capacities.
