Launched in 2005 in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Council, the PROTECT series has devoted increasing attention to all kinds of threats in security arising from rapid technological developments in areas such as:
- IT, internet, mobile world, social media
- natural disasters, pandemics, chemical and radiological threats
- extremism, transnational crimes, energy
- food and water supply
PROTECT 2015 will focus on cyber security, data protection, protection of privacy and identity, cargo threats, protection of critical infrastructures, CBRE, transnational crimes and the latest global developments affecting security.
PROTECT brings together 200 key officials from government and the private sector, suppliers of technologies for security, representatives of international organizations and planners.
