His Excellency Ali bin Khalfan bin Salman Al Qutaiti, Chief of Health and Environment Council and Chief of Crushers and Quarrying Council at the Shura Council, Sultanate of Oman has been confirmed as the Chief Guest for Mining and Quarrying Oman 2014. Organised by IQPC and Global Exhibitions & Conferences LLC (GEC), the second annual Mining and Quarrying Oman conference will have over 60 experts and professionals gather between 18 – 19 May 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Muscat.
Vengesayi Nyamondo, Chief Mining Engineer at Mawarid Mining Company will deliver a case study on the Ghuzayn project – a modern mine in Oman.
Mining and quarrying experts from the Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC) and African Barrick Gold – Tanzania will contribute personal experience of resolving challenges in relation to achieving In-Country Value and beneficiation; both of which are crucial to the development of Oman’s industry.
In addition, senior representatives from Takamul Investment Company, Oman Investment Fund (OIF), Zeiox Capital, and the Vidotto Group will address investment-related topics during the first day of the conference.
