Commenting on the exhibition, Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Malaysia, said, “IGEM, ASEAN’s largest green technology exhibition, is a platform for industry experts to showcase new sustainable innovations for nations and businesses to incorporate as part of our collective sustainable development efforts.”
IGEM 2017, themed “Powering Green Cities”, targets $375m in business leads and will feature 320 exhibitors from 20 countries showcasing the latest innovations in green energy, green transport, green buildings and green industry.
Key exhibitors this year include First Solar, Hanwha Q Cells, JA Solar, Huawei, Volvo and EcoWorld. IGEM 2017 will also feature global participation from China, Japan, Korea and the US as well as regional representation from Taiwan and EU.
IGEM 2017 will be held October 11-13, 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
