EuroCham is the principal business organisation in Indonesia, which promotes European business interests and represents European member companies. EuroCham maintains close working relationships with the European Commission, European Union Delegation, European Bilateral Chambers of Commerce in Indonesia, and European Embassies in Indonesia.
EuroCham aims to improve the market access for European companies in Indonesia through information sharing and a proactive advocacy dialogue with the Government of Indonesia, representing a pan-European industry voice. This work is mainly done through 14 Working Groups, which represent European business interests in their respective industry/field.
EuroCham works to support improvement of trade and investment climate in Indonesia as outlined in the EU-Indonesia Strategy Paper 2007-13, considering the overall objective of the EU to support the sustainability of Indonesia’s economic growth by improving its trade and investment climate. EuroCham’s activities facilitate monitoring of investment climate improvement and implementation of reforms as well as support improved facilities for advocacy vis-à-vis the Government of Indonesia.
