Third Party Event

15 Jan 2012

Due to the unfortunate passing of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, we are postponing the Environmental Infrastructure Forum (EIF).

HRH Prince Sultan was a key figure in the development of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, the main supporter of EIF. So as a mark of respect, we have postponed the event to 15 – 17 January 2012.

Programme

Construction projects in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East’s largest construction market, are expected to be worth SR 237.4 bn by 2012 as the Saudi Government proceeds with its 9th five-year development plan.

Sustainability is at the forefront of the government’s plans, leading to a wide range of new business opportunities for design, construction, energy, water, infrastructure and transportation industries.

  • EIF is the only event in the region to tackle environmentally sustainable development and infrastructure together, with the support of the Saudi government. The conference will focus on;
  • Embedding environmental excellence and sustainability into Saudi and the GCC urban planning and transportation projects
  • Identifying opportunities for investing in sustainable infrastructure and transportation systems
  • Building and energy regulations to increase efficiency and reduce dependency on energy intensive systems
