With the shift in industry imperatives, the focus will be on advanced solutions and strategies for increased efficiency, reliability and reducing the carbon footprint of assets and conversion processes.
It remains highly important for refiners to increase conversion rates, but equally producers need to ensure that emissions from all production process schemes are fully under control and minimised. The event will once again bring together refiners, solution providers, contractors and consultants to exchange on ways to reduce emissions, increase efficiency, improve product specifications, further integrate with petrochemicals, increase profitability, and also meet the industry’s decarbonisation objectives.
The downstream sector is tasked with supplying energy in a secure, sustainable and affordable manner. As part of the solution, refiners will need to continue upgrading heavier lower-value components and increasing conversion to curb low-value FO production, while implementing solutions for eliminating emissions.
