H.E. Dr. Majid Abdullah Al Kassabi, the Minister of Commerce and Investment, together with Burhan Almarifa and LexisNexis, is pleased to announce the 2nd Saudi Law Conference (SLC 2019), which will be held November 3rd to 5th at the King Faisal Conventions Center – InterContinental Riyadh Hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

SLC 2019 topics include developing fintech laws in Saudi Arabia and exploring related challenges; legal and practical intellectual property developments in the Kingdom and related challenges; the importance of such laws to the local economy; and how legal specialists can be encouraged to enhance the laws. In addition, a day is dedicated to the future leaders of the Saudi legal sector, and conversations will include the fundamentals of the law profession and related legislation with special emphasis on commercial legislation.

The program will also include workshops tackling fintech, drafting agreements, the most important global IP practices in all IP forms and their importance to SMEs, in addition to bankruptcy laws that protect entrepreneurs and promote risk-taking creative ideas that can contribute to the Kingdom’s economy.

SLC 2019 will gather local and international legal professionals and experts, including public officials, in-house councils, heads of law firms, lawyers, CEOs who are interested in gaining insight on the latest practical and legal developments of fintech and IP, business owners and their consultants, compliance department staff, banks, investors, investment firms, entrepreneurs and bankruptcy trustees.
