MOHAMMED HORANI: We export our software solutions to more than 80 countries on five continents. Having offices in several locations around the world, I can tell you that Casablanca is of great value for our business. As HPS, we have maybe more than 15 nationalities in Casablanca. In Casablanca we have everything to attract talent: you can jog in front of the Atlantic Ocean, and you can also have some fun with friends in a lot of restaurants and cafés – sincerely, Casablanca is very attractive for talent.
STEPHEN ORR: Why Casablanca? It was because it offered a large pool of very well-educated people who were willing to learn. It is also very well situated in terms of logistics. It has the largest artificial port in Africa. So Casablanca is clearly the economic and business development centre in Morocco.
JEFFREYS: Casablanca is not only the largest city in the Maghreb with a population of almost 4.5m. It is also the commercial heart of Morocco. The extensive diversification of the economy here in Casablanca underlines the fact that Morocco’s lack of resources is not its weakness but in fact its strength.
