Souhir has a BA in English Studies and a Masters in Economics and Political Science, from the University of Sorbonne, Paris.

Work History 

Souhir worked largely in Paris throughout her studies until moving to Istanbul in 2011 to work at Oxford Business Group. She has since occupied a number of key editorial roles, from Analyst and Production Editor, to her current role as Regional Editor for Africa. 

Over the years Souhir has worked on countless OBG projects and travelled extensively throughout Africa, meeting and interviewing some of the continent’s most prominent government and business leaders. In addition to overseeing editorial processes across the region, Souhir takes part in Africa-related events as a moderator and speaker, and contributes to her blog on the OBG website and external publications.

When she is not travelling, Souhir is based in Istanbul. In addition to her passion for pilates, Souhir devotes much of her free time to reading and exploring the outdoors. 

Souhir is half-British/half-Tunisian, and speaks English, Arabic and French.
