Held each year at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, WFES is hosted by Masdar, and as one of the signature events of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, it engages thousands of political, business, finance and academic leaders, and encourages cross-sector partnerships to help identify the opportunities that will translate into industry-wide innovation and successful investments.

The 2016 edition of the event will see the launch of Solar Expo, a platform dedicated to highlighting the solar industries latest advancements in technology and innovation, and will bring together experts, innovators, suppliers, and buyers.  More than 150 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation, with such global names as First Solar and Hanergy committed to take part in the exhibition and conference discussion proceedings.

Meeting the growing demand for fuel efficient vehicles in the region, and supporting the UAE’s sustainability agendas with UAE Vision 2021 and Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, WFES 2016 will also launch Sustainable Transport, a zone where manufacturers and innovators will showcase sustainable transportation technology across land, sea, and air; complemented by conference proceedings featuring global thought leaders on sustainable transportation.

In addition to these new features, the International Water Summit and EcoWASTE Exhibition will continue to be co-located at the WFES event, offering visitors the unique opportunity to network with investors and providers bridging the gap between traditional and new forms of energy.

The World Future Energy Summit 2016 will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, in Abu Dhabi, from 18-21 January 2016. With 650 exhibiting suppliers from more than 40 countries, and more than 32,000 attendees from 170 countries expected.
