Doha is hosting The 4th General Conference of Arab Union of Electricity and Exhibition, Seminar on the Investment Opportunities in the Electrical Industries in Arab Countries, and The 7th Exhibition of Electrical Industries in the Arab World under the slogan: “Renewable Energy and Smart Systems ... Future Solutions for Electric Power”.
The event is organised by the Arab Union of Electricity (AUE), Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA”, and the Energy Department in the League of Arab States.

The event will coincide with the celebration of the Silver Jubilee of The Arab Union of Electricity foundation, where the AUC, in the attendance of high officials from public and private sector leaders, will celebrate twenty-five years of successful work for the development of the Arab electricity sector.
The 4th General Conference of Arab Union of Electricity and Accompanying Events are expected to be attended by a large number of participants representing the electricity ministers in the Arab countries, industry leaders and decision makers in the electricity sector, international manufacturers of smart grid solutions, researchers and all interested in electricity, renewable energy and smart grids in the Arab region.
The events will be attended by the Arab Ministers of Electricity who have scheduled the periodic meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council in the League of Arab States at the same period.
This event will witness the changeover of chairmanship of the board of directors of the Arab Union of Electricity from the Tunisian Republic to the State of Qatar.
The 7th Exhibition of Electrical Industries in the Arab World includes local, regional and international organisations and will show-case the latest innovations in the field of Electricity and related subspecialty products and services.
