ISES 2014 is a platform that provides an exchange of sustainable energy information and networking opportunities. The inaugural ISES was organised in 2012 and was a successful event with overwhelming response from the industries. The theme for ISES 2014, Currency of Autonomy: Sustainable Energy aims to reinforce the important role of sustainable energy in our quest for national energy autonomy.

The theme of ISES 2014 also aligns with SEDA Malaysia’s vision to promote the deployment of sustainable energy measures as part of the work towards achieving energy security and autonomy. The theme reflects unpredictable global energy prices, the risks countries will have to contend with due to reducing supply of fossil fuels, and the environmental costs of these fuels.
